August.
COMER / WTP CADET (Sponsored by A.D.Wones Motor Engineer)
Seventeen Comer/WTP karts contesting the final, with Oliver Hodgson in pole position after three heat wins. Thomas Stanway and Sam Blake in close attendance round the first corner. At the end of the first lap Oliver had begun to open out a lead over second place Thomas. Katie Dobson was driving exceptionally well in fifth place, but the best gain came from Kieran Barber, who moved up to sixth place from tenth on the grid. As the race progressed, Oliver continued to increase his lead, with Thomas and Sam coming under increased pressure from Craig Pollard in fourth. A good move from Kieran on lap seven saw him past Katie for fifth place. Rhys Malyon also had a good race to come through the field to reach seventh spot by lap eleven. With the race settling down for the last few laps, Oliver Hodgson maintained his lead to take the chequered flag. Thomas Stanway in 2nd place with Sam Blake coming home in 3rd. Craig Pollard finishing in 4th ahead of Kieran Barber in 5th. Kieran also collected the restricted drivers trophy. Simon Harris finishing the race in 6th place.
HONDA CADET
To borrow a common football term, this was a race of two halves. The first half in dry, bright conditions saw a clean start from Mitchell Squire, closely followed by Connor Summers and Thomas Griffiths. Mathew Cochrane slipped past Thomas on lap two for third place. Lap four and Mathew was up to second ahead of Connor. As the rain began to fall on lap seven, Mitchell struggled with the wet track and slipped down to fourth, allowing Mathew to take the lead. Connor moved up to second with Gordon Smith in third. The race was red flagged at the end of lap seven due to the worsening conditions. The second half of the race was held with plenty of surface water on the track in spite of the best efforts of the marshals to remove it. Mathew led them off in line astern and took advantage of being in front to open out a comfortable lead. Thomas moved up to second place on lap nine but was too far back to trouble Mathew. At the chequered flag, Mathew Cochrane took the win ahead of Thomas Griffiths in 2nd place. In 3rd position was Connor Summers with Mitchell Squire in 4th. Gordon Smith finishing in 5th, just ahead of Jasmine Gunton in 6th.
JUNIOR TKM
Ashley Ruggles was back to his winning ways after missing last months meeting with an injured collar bone. Starting on pole after three heat wins, he led the field in to the first corner, but Cassey Watson led out of it. By the end of the lap, Ashley had retaken the lead, Stuart MacClinton was up in to second place and Cassey was down to third. Problems for Stuart on lap two saw him back in sixth place. Daniel Bishop by this time had worked his way up to third, challenging Cassey for second position. Tristam Macro in fourth was closing all the time on Daniel, but on the last lap Tristam dropped a place to David. At the flag, a comfortable win for Ashley Ruggles ahead of Cassey Watson in 2nd. Daniel Bishop holding on to 3rd, with David Evans in 4th. Tristam Macro coming home in 5th ahead of Stuart McClinton in 6th.
JUNIOR TKM INTERMEDIATE
Racing in with the Junior TKM’s, Steven Chisholm took the class win.

Although Nicholas Wones was on pole, Daniel Fisher beat him to the first corner with Josh Bass in third place. Working hard, Nicholas gained the lead by the end of lap two. Steady driving from Josh carried him to second place on lap four. Further down the field, James Mulley and Michael Rugeutieri were battling each other for fourth spot. Daniel and Josh traded places in the latter part of the race with Josh coming out on top. On the line, a win for Nicholas Wones, ahead of Josh Bass in 2nd. Coming home in third was Daniel Fisher with James Mulley as 1st restricted driver in 4th place overall. Michael Rugeutieri finishing in 5th.

lights. Luke Branch and Steven Hopewell settling down on his rear bumper. The
marshals driver of the day, Lloyd Bell made the best start, up from fifth on the
grid to second place at the end of the first lap. Peter Masters also driving
well, coming through in to sixth place. On lap five, Luke consolidated his third
place, with Steven a few metres back in fourth. James Canham, with some
consistent driving was up to seventh place by lap six. Oliver Walker recovered
well, coming through the pack up to fifth place at the end, from last place on

SENIOR ROTAX MAX
Liam Lambert on pole, got an excellent start, pushed all the way by his brothers Gary and Jamie. Gordon Chenery moved up the field to third place from sixth on lap one. Leyton Nisbett settling down just off the lead in fifth. With probably the most experience of wet weather driving, Gordon soon passed Gary for second place. Mark Bowen found the wet conditions to his liking and quickly moved in to fourth. On lap five, Gordon moved in to the lead, dropping Liam down to second. Marks next target was Gary, overtaking him at the end of lap five for a clear third place. Ashley Beales joined up with the leading group at half race distance in fifth place. Leyton forced his way through to fourth place for a couple of laps, but a good move from Ashley on lap eleven pushed Leyton back to fifth. Gordon by this time had opened out a comfortable lead, which he held to the flag. Liam Lambert just behind in 2nd place ahead of Mark Bowen in 3rd. Ashley Beales finishing in 4th position ahead of Leyton Nisbett in 5th. Phil McLintic coming home in 6th place.
