Alex Widdrington started the final on pole after three heat wins with Nicholas Wones making up the front row. From the green light, Alex stamped his quality on the race, immediately pulling out a five metre lead. Nicholas and third place driver Simon Harris continued to battle over the runner-up position for several laps until Nicholas upped the pace to secure a gap that Simon was unable to close. Further back, Clinton Bridge and Karl Cocca were changing places each lap, Karl eventually staying ahead of Clinton on lap seven. Bradley Smith and Jamie Bardwell both getting the better of Nicholas coming out of the first corner, dropping him down to fourth. Peter Masters just off the leading group in fifth. As the race settled down, Daniels pace began to string the field out, Nicholas taking until lap five before moving past Bradley for third spot and another four laps to get past Jamie for second place. At the chequered flag, a win for Daniel Fisher, ahead of Nicholas Wones in 2nd. Jamie Bardwell finishing close behind in 3rd spot with Peter Masters in 4th place. Ray continued to push Liam for the lead until both drivers went off line on the exit of the double apex corner, allowing Leyton through past both of them. Liam dropping down to third as a result. By lap six, Leyton had opened out a few metres lead over Ray, but Liam caught up and passed Ray to regain second spot. The gap to Leyton proved too much for Liam leaving Leyton to take his first senior Rotax win, much to the delight of his supporters. Liam Lambert having to settle for 2nd ahead of Ray Lincoln in 3rd. Mel. At the flag, a win for Mel Cooke, ahead of Wayne Vickory in 2nd. Steve
