18th NOVEMBER 2000

A cold but sunny morning welcomed everyone to Ellough Park Raceway for the
final meeting of the 2000 season.

CADET

A gripping race saw Dean Hill take the win closely followed home by Gary
Findlay and Daniel Tuffs. Jordon Coulson took the first restricted with a
fine drive and Rupert Svensdon-Cook took 1st in the Honda cadets.

JUNIORS

Once again it was Joe Scorey who led from lights to flag in his intermediate,
building up a lead of half a lap on 2nd placed driver James Blyth (1st
Yamaha) who in turn was quarter of a lap ahead of Shaun Lehan (1st Jnr TKM).

GEARBOX

A close race over the 14 lap final saw Greg Tripp take the chequered flag
for a deserved victory ahead of Graham Johnson 2nd and Jonathon Weavers 3rd.

SENIOR TKM

Never more than a few lengths separated James Stevenson and Robert Ball, but
after exchanging places numerous times it was Stevenson who crossed the line
first to take the win.

100C

Veteran Gordon Chennery showed there's no substitute for experience by romping
home to victory, Ian Melton was the best of the rest but could do nothing
about the sheer speed of Chennery. Paul Steady finished 3rd, Jason Baker 4th
and James Clutten 5th.

ROTAX MAX

Julian Warner had to be at his best to hold off the close attentions of
Kevin 'the bash' Bishop for a fine victory. Jason Fowler won a tremendous battle for 3rd from Brian Giles 4th and Adam Baker (1st restricted) 5th.
